Job summary

V-Soft Consulting seeks a licensed Pharmacist to join our team in Tulsa, OK. The role emphasizes patient care, medication therapy management, and collaboration with physicians to optimize home-care drug therapies.

You will supervise pharmacy staff, maintain confidential patient records, provide services such as blood pressure monitoring and device education, and ensure accurate inventory and quality standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy degree required.
• Supervise pharmacy staff including technicians and clerks.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, pharmacists and interns.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient services including smoking cessation, BP measurement, cholesterol management and device education; compound medications as needed.
• Maintain inventory of pharmaceutical and medical supplies.
• Maintain accurate, confidential patient records and pharmacy files.
• Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication and strong organizational skills.

• Doctor of Pharmacy degree required

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Supervise pharmacy staff members including pharmacy technicians, pharmacy clerks, etc.
• Work in conjunction with physicians, nurses, other pharmacists, pharmacy interns, etc
• Proven record of evaluating and monitoring drug therapies for home care patients
• Accurately maintain confidential records of all patients ensure proper management of patient records and pharmacy files

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Provide services to patients, such as smoking cessation, blood pressure measurement and cholesterol management. Educate patients on proper handling of medical devices such as blood pressure monitor and glucose meters. Compound medications for external or internal use.
• Maintain appropriate inventory on pharmaceutical and medical supplies
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Good organizational and time-management skills
