Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital - Miami Lakes is seeking a Pharmacist to join our inpatient post-ICU team in a fast-paced hospital setting. The role covers drug distribution, central operations, IV admixture, and clinical support of the pharmacy function.

Responsibilities

• Working knowledge of pharmaceutical services including drug distribution systems, central operations and IV admixture.
• Provide clinical support of the hospital pharmacy function in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain adequate drug supplies at the pharmacy at all times.
• Inform and instruct patients on drugs to be used after discharge.
• Develop and participate in new employee training and education programs.
• Participate in patient drug therapy monitoring.
• Promote a continuous quality improvement environment.

Schedule: Full Time, Evening Shift (2:30 - 11:00pm)

Compensation: $50 - $65 per hour, based on experience

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

• Pharm D or BS Pharm plus advanced degree or completion of hospital pharmacy residency.
