Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital in Fort Myers, FL is seeking a Pharmacist to manage drug distribution, central operations and IV admixture in a fast-paced hospital setting. You will provide clinical support to the hospital pharmacy function and ensure continuity of drug supplies while guiding patient discharge instructions.

Position: Pharmacist


Location: Fort Myers, FL


Schedule: Days, 8 hour shifts


Compensation: $56-$70 per hour

  • As the Pharmacist, you will be responsible for having a working knowledge of all areas of pharmaceutical services including drug distribution systems, central operations and IV admixture.

  • Correctly informing and instructing patients on any drugs to be used after they are discharged.

  • Developing and participating in new employee training and education programs.

  • Participating in patient drug therapy monitoring.

Minimum Qualifications


  • Requires successful completion of all educational requirements as mandated for state licensure.

  • Current State licensure required.

  • BLS if required by State.


Preferred Qualifications


  • Pharm D or BS Pharm plus advanced degree or completion of hospital pharmacy residency.
