Job summary

Red Rock Pharmacy in Tempe, AZ is seeking a part-time Pharmacist who is hard-working, organized, and detail-focused to join our team. Experience in long-term care is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential.

You will supervise technicians, perform final checks on medications, and ensure compliance with HIPAA and regulations while maintaining inventory and customer service excellence.

Qualifications

• Active pharmacist license in Arizona in good standing.
• Long-term care experience preferred but not required.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to our processes.

Responsibilities

• Supervise pharmacy technicians, interns, and ancillary staff with filling, dispensing, labeling and packaging of medication.
• Perform the final check on all medication.
• Manage inventory and profitability (invoicing, purchasing, labor).
• Protect health information (HIPAA) and prevent fraud, waste, and abuse.
• Prepare sterile solutions according to USP 797 and enteral feeding/nutrition.
• Prepare computer generated forms and reports.
• Maintain the legal aspects of pharmacy practice and regulations.

Red Rock Pharmacy is a fast-growing Long-Term Care Pharmacy and we are looking for a part-time Pharmacist for our Tempe, AZ area.We are looking for a hard-working, organized, problem-solving pharmacist with great attention to detail.
