Overview
Pharmacist - Full-Time (Variable Shifts - 1st and 2nd Shift)
Provides pharmaceutical services, both distributive and clinical, to patients, nursing staff and other clinical services staff of the Medical Center including information on the safe and effective use of medications. Able to act in and oversee all functional areas of the department. Provides direction to technical staff.

Responsibilities
- Provide pharmaceutical services, both distributive and clinical, to patients, nursing staff and other clinical services staff, including information on the safe and effective use of medications.
- Act in and oversee all functional areas of the Pharmacy department and provide direction to technical staff.
- Serve in a group leader or informal "assistant supervisory" or "lead" role; provide information or suggestions on human resources matters as needed.
- Demonstrate accountability for scheduling, assigning or coordinating work as applicable; supervise or guide others as appropriate.
- Work with limited responsibility for material resources (supplies, equipment, inventories, small budgets) and recognize the level of resource control and associated risk.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy.
- Licensure/Registration: Registered Pharmacist in Illinois. If applicant is initial licensure, must obtain Illinois Pharmacist Registration within 6 months of hire. Applicants licensed in another state must obtain Illinois registration within 6 months of hire.
- Experience: No experience required.
- Seniority level: Entry level.
- Pay Scale: $62.10 - $82 per hour.
