NC State University is seeking a Pharmacist for the Veterinary Hospital. The role involves ensuring safe medication therapy and dispensing outpatient and inpatient medications. Candidates should have experience in a veterinary pharmacy or training in pharmacy technology.

This position works in the Pharmacy service for the Veterinary Hospital. The incumbent ensures safe, effective, and legally compliant drug therapy. Serves as the final check when dispensing inpatient medications, outpatient medications, cytotoxic agents, and compounded preparations to all customers of the VH pharmacy.
Current enrollment or completion of a two year pharmacy technician training program. Prefer experience working in a veterinary pharmacy in a veterinary teaching hospital.
Prefer previous working experience in a veterinary pharmacy.
Current enrollment in or successful completion of a two year pharmacy technology associate program with eligibility for CphT certification.
