Job summary

St. Mary's General Hospital in Passaic, NJ, seeks a licensed pharmacist to join the hospital's pharmacy team on a per diem basis.

The role focuses on delivering safe, high-quality pharmaceutical care across general medicine, ICU, obstetrics, pediatrics, emergency, and outpatient services. Under the supervision of the Director of Pharmacy, you will coordinate department activities, ensure patient safety, and support immunization and certification requirements.

Qualifications

• Current state Registered Pharmacist License.
• Experience in hospital pharmacy operations preferred.
• B.S. degree in Pharmacy required; Doctor of Pharmacy degree preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certification preferred.
• APhA Immunization Certification and BLS as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate activities of the pharmacy department to provide high-quality pharmaceutical care.
• Support patient safety across medicine, ICU, obstetrics, pediatrics, and emergency care.
• Assist in expanding services in oncology and outpatient pharmacy.

Responsibilities

Under the supervision of the Director of Pharmacy, coordinates the activities of the pharmacy department to provide the highest quality of pharmaceutical care to all patients served by the hospital, while ensuring patient safety. The scope of patient care provided may include: General Medicine/Surgical, Intensive Care Services, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Pediatrics, Emergency Care, Oncology, Peri-operative, Geriatrics and Outpatient Services.

Pay Transparency

St. Mary's General Hospital offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $56.00. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
