Job Summary:
The Pharmacist will be responsible for providing pharmaceutical care to the community, ensuring the safe, effective, and appropriate use of medications. This role involves working closely with healthcare professionals and community members to optimize medication therapy, counsel on medication use, and manage pharmacy operations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Review and interpret prescriptions to verify accuracy, appropriateness, and potential drug interactions.
- Counsel patients on the proper use of medications, including dosage, side effects, and potential interactions.
- Provide medication therapy management and assist in the development of individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure optimal therapeutic outcomes for patients.
- Maintain accurate medication records and manage inventory, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Train and supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff.
- Stay updated on new medications, therapies, and pharmacy practices through continuing education and professional development.
- Implement and follow quality assurance protocols to ensure safe pharmacy operations.
- Participate in community health initiatives and educational programs to promote medication safety and health awareness.

Qualifications:
- Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited pharmacy school.
- Valid state pharmacist license.
- Previous experience in a retail, clinical, or hospital pharmacy setting is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of pharmacology, drug interactions, and medication management.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in pharmacy software and Microsoft Office applications.
