Job summary

A-line Staffing Solutions is recruiting a Pharmacist for an on-site home infusion pharmacy in Oklahoma City, OK. The Pharmacist will evaluate and monitor drug therapy and ensure compliance with regulations while collaborating with nurses, customer service, and distribution teams.

Responsibilities include reviewing patient orders, planning and monitoring therapy, and conducting assessments for drug-related problems. Acute-care or home infusion experience is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy required; Doctor of Pharmacy preferred.
• Registered Pharmacist License in Oklahoma.
• Minimum of two (2) years recent experience in an acute-care setting or one (1) year in home infusion therapy.
• Experience with compounding infused drugs.

Job Description:

Evaluates and monitors drug therapy in home care patients in collaboration with healthcare professionals. Adheres to organizational policies, federal, and state regulations governing pharmacy practice. Participates in quality assurance activities and ensures compliance with accreditation standards. Coordinates referrals and admissions along with nurses, customer service, and distribution teams. Reviews, verifies, and documents all new patient orders accurately. Assists healthcare providers with planning, implementing, and monitoring patient drug therapy, including preparing progress reports. Conducts assessments to identify drug-related problems and evaluates therapy outcomes through laboratory and clinical data.

Critical Information:

Shift: M-F 8:30-5:30, 8-5, 9-6 (rotating schedules)

Scheduled On Call shifts: Friday 5:30 PM - Monday 8:30 AM (typically once a month)

Remote/on-site/hybrid: Onsite

Compliance/submission: Maintains documentation and adheres to all applicable regulations.

Environment: Home infusion pharmacy setting with sterile compounding and aseptic techniques.

Education/Licenses Needed:

Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy required; Doctor of Pharmacy preferred.

Registered Pharmacist License in Oklahoma.
