Job summary

Olympia Fields Hospital is seeking a pharmacist to coordinate and lead pharmacy operations within the hospital, ensuring top-quality pharmaceutical care and patient safety across multiple services. The role supports ICU, OB/GYN, Pediatrics, Emergency, Oncology, and outpatient care, reporting to the Director of Pharmacy.

Required licensure and BS in Pharmacy with PharmD preferred; BLS/ACLS certifications are advantageous. This is a full-time, on-site position with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Current state Registered Pharmacist License is required.
• Experience in hospital pharmacy operations preferred.
• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy required; Doctor of Pharmacy degree preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Under the supervision of the Director of Pharmacy, coordinates the activities of the pharmacy department to provide the highest quality of pharmaceutical care to all patients served by the hospital, while ensuring patient safety. The scope of patient care provided may include: General Medicine/Surgical, Intensive Care Services, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Pediatrics, Emergency Care, Oncology, Peri-operative, Geriatrics and Outpatient Services.
