Job summary

Windsor Healthcare Recruitment Group, Inc. is seeking a Pharmacist for inpatient hospital coverage in Wisconsin. The role includes order verification, sterile and nonsterile compounding, and clinical dosing tasks in a Pediatric hospital environment.

Requirements include a Wisconsin license (ACT 10 accepted), hospital experience or residency, and ability to handle flexible PM/night shifts with potential weekends. Omnicell, Cerner EMR, and Pharmacy Keeper systems are used in the role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year hospital experience or residency training; 3 years in non-resident roles also considered.
• WI pharmacist license; ACT 10 acceptance considered.
• Experience in sterile compounding and non-sterile roles preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform order verification and product check and release.
• Conduct remote sterile compounding verification and clinical tasks (IV-PO, renal dose reviews, aminoglycoside and anticoagulation dosing).
• Support pediatric orders for the hospital setting and adapt to team needs.

BLS, WI license (will accept ACT 10).

Local Rate

Local Rate: Candidates living within 80 miles of the facility. Client rates reduced by #/hour.

Certs/Licensure Requirements WI license, will accept ACT 10.

Areas covered

What areas will they cover (ER, ICU, Inpt, Outpt, etc.). Inpatient roles, Variable based on team needs; must be comfortable with standard pediatric orders due to Pediatric hospital being imbedded.

Common Duties/Job Requirements/Skills

Experience and Must have skills

Any specific experience or 'Must have' skills Min 1 yr hospital, residency trained or 3 yrs experience preferred Pharmacy Techs? staffed 24 hrs in sterile compounding and nonsterile roles.

Shifts & Scheduling

10 hr shifts Block schedule in PM/overnight roles of 7/70; day shifts are 8 hr staggered start beginning at 0600. Do you allow self-scheduling? Block scheduling?
