Job summary

Jushi Holdings Inc. is seeking a Pharmacist in Virginia to ensure patients receive accurate consultations for medical cannabis needs. The role focuses on compliant, compassionate patient care and smooth prescription processes in a fast-paced environment.

The pharmacist will mentor staff, adhere to state regulations and company policies, and guide both patients and employees on product selection, dosing, and administration. Flexibility for evenings and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia Pharmacy license and Board of Pharmacy registration.
• Willing to submit and pass a comprehensive background check.

Responsibilities

This role is charged with ensuring that patient care by way of consultations runs smoothly, efficiently, complies with state regulations, complies with company policies, and supports our initiatives. Actions and efforts must positively contribute to the overall culture and company mission. Compliance, compassion, and quality care is a core focus for our Pharmacist.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Lead by example through being the ultimate illustration of service, dedication, pace and energy
• Mentor, motivate, elevate and inspire the managers and store staff through continual training on compliance, products, and company best practices
• Adhere to and promote the company culture of positivity, professionalism, and compliance with policies and state regulations
• Conduct over-the-phone and in-person consultations and follow-ups to ensure that patients and caregivers are receiving accurate and helpful information in a caring and compassionate way
• Follow policies and procedures and execute all company programs for customer service, patient and visitor management, state compliance, and safety and security guidelines
• Guide patients and employees with cannabis recommendations including product selection, effects, potency, dosing, methods of consumption, and administration
• Identify and develop process improvements to assist with company growth
• Guide patients and employees with cannabis recommendations including product selection, effects, potency, dosing, methods of consumption, and administration
• Effectively and diplomatically handle employee or customer concerns and complaints while interfacing with the Store Manager and the Regional Manager
• Report any issues or complaints relating to the product to the Manager, Quality and Compliance Manager, and the Director of Operations in real-time
• Assist with onboarding and training of new Pharmacist and Pharmacy Technicians

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Must hold an active Virginia Pharmacy license and be a registered medical professional with the Board of Pharmacy
• Must be willing to submit and pass a comprehensive background check
