Job summary

PharmScript in Lenexa, KS seeks a licensed Pharmacist to provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care in routine and emergency drug screening, information, processing and dispensing services for diverse distribution systems to facilities.

Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with DEA policies and state/federal regulations, supervising production staff, and maintaining accurate inventories while delivering safe medications to customers with a focus on teamwork and leadership.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited School of Pharmacy
  • Current license to practice pharmacy in good standing in the State of Kansas

Responsibilities

  • Execute day-to-day operations in the pharmacy as they pertain to workflow, production quotas, and deadlines
  • Assist in proper ordering, handling, receiving, documentation, and storage of all controlled substances; maintain perpetual inventory for scheduled drugs
  • Ensure pharmacy compliance with all local, state, and federal rules and regulations governing the practice of pharmacy
  • Supervise pharmacy production staff to ensure proper order entry, workflow, and security of the pharmacy area
  • Prepare and/or supervise preparation of all IV kits, drug products or solutions
  • Check for completeness and accuracy of all new and refill labels and orders; ensure content and accuracy of drug packaging and labeling
  • Ensure compliance with DEA policies and all applicable government regulations

In this role, you'll provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care through routine and emergency drug screening, information, processing, and dispensing services for various drug distribution systems to the facilities. You'll also be responsible for ensuring that standards are maintained, policies carried out, and objectives accomplished. Consistently ensure that the appropriate drug product reaches the customer safely. Location: 11144 Renner Blvd, Lenexa, KS

Hours: Monday - Friday / 9:00 am - 5:30 pm OR 12:30 pm - 9:00 pm / Weekend rotation (every 6 weeks) / On Call (every 4th week)

Primary Responsibilities:

The hourly pay for this role will range from $44.00 - $79.00 per hour based on full-time employment.
