Job summary

TelyRx in Irving, Texas is seeking a licensed Pharmacist to join our technology-enabled tele-health pharmacy. The role focuses on clinical formulary oversight along with traditional pharmacist duties, with emphasis on mail-order capabilities and on-site automation.

Ideal candidates hold an active Texas pharmacist license and can commit to 1–2 hours daily of fulfillment support. On-site presence at our pharmacy is required to enable efficient processing and patient care.

Qualifications

• Active Texas pharmacist license with clean record.
• Willingness to work on-site at the Clearwater pharmacy for required hours.
• Preference for mail-order pharmacy experience.
• Strong customer service and problem-resolution skills.
• Able to learn automation equipment and software tools.

Responsibilities

• Own the workflow with automation machines and shipping within the pharmacy platform.
• Review and sign off on medications refilled in Parata canisters.
• Troubleshoot and fix errors with equipment onsite to minimize downtime.
• Assist with receiving medications and data entry when staff are not present.
• Process prescriptions with automation equipment onsite and assist the team.
• Prepare orders for packing and shipping and respond to clinical questions from patients.

We are looking for a licensed Pharmacist in the Irving/Dallas Texas area with experience in mail order pharmacies to support our growing pharmacy's clinical and filling needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the workflow with the automation machines and shipping within our pharmacy platform
• Review and sign off on medications being refilled in the canisters of the Parata equipment
• Troubleshoot and eliminate errors with the equipment onsite to reduce any potential downtime of the machines
• Assist with receiving medications and entering into our system if staff is not present to complete
• Assist the team in processing prescriptions with the automation equipment onsite
• Prepare orders for packing and shipping
• Respond to clinical questions online or calls from patients
• Most importantly, have fun learning and growing with us on this exciting new journey!

What You Bring

Required:

• An active pharmacist license in the state of Texas with no reprimands on the license
• Able to commit to a scheduled 1-2 hours a day, Monday through Friday, of fulfillment support needed to process the orders for our patient needs
• Capable of learning the basics of the equipment and technology required to fulfill the orders of our patients
• Be patient-focused and provide outstanding customer service, .
• Be agile, flexible, and willing to learn as we grow and evolve
• Must be able to be onsite at our Clearwater pharmacy for hours worked
• A proven, independent thinker, able to work with minimal staff and direction
• Proficient in Microsoft apps and/or Google apps
• All experience is welcomed (new grads welcomed)
• A collaborative “get it done” approach to exceed our patients' expectations
• Excellent customer service skills and problem-resolution
• Preference will be giving to Pharmacist with mail order pharmacy experience!

• Ability and willingness to ambitiously get licensed in multiple states
• Prior experience working with Parata equipment, even better if you have ATP-2 experience
• Start-up or experience at an online or mail-order pharmacy
