Job summary

RADHealth+ is seeking a pharmacist to join our PA team in a role with rotating days and a 7-days-per-week availability. The position includes weekend work and two holidays per year, with compensation details outlined in the package below.

Expect involvement in patient counseling, dispensing, and collaboration with clinicians to ensure safe medication use. Shift coverage includes 1st shift options from 8am to 4:30pm or 9am to 5:30pm, with weekend rotation every other weekend.

Qualifications

• Licensed pharmacist with PharmD.
• Active PA State Pharmacist license.
• Strong knowledge of medication safety and patient counseling.

Weekly Straight Pay (Taxable) $1,515.20

Overtime Pay: $90.00/Hr

Local Pay: $69.02/Hr on W2

Job Description:

• - Accept and dispense prescription medications.
• - Monitor patient medication compliance and over-usage patterns.
• - Ensuring that the supply of medicines is within the law.
• - Ensuring that the medicines prescribed to patients are suitable.
• - Accurately maintain confidential records of all patients ensure proper management of patient records and pharmacy files.
• - Advising patients about medicines, including how to take them, what reactions may occur and answering patients' questions.
• - Provide consultation on prescription and non-prescription medications for storage, dosage, side effects, and drug interactions.
• - Provide services to patients, such as smoking cessation, blood pressure measurement and cholesterol management.
• - Educate patients on proper handling of medical devices such as blood pressure monitor and glucose meters.
• - Compound medications for external or internal use. Prepare sterile solutions following proper procedures.
• - Supervise pharmacy staff members including pharmacy technicians, pharmacy clerks, etc.
• - Maintain appropriate inventory on pharmaceutical and medical supplies.
• - Identify patient’s drug-related problems and effectively communicate with physicians and other healthcare practitioners.
• - Work in conjunction with physicians, nurses, other pharmacists, pharmacy interns, etc.
