JobRx, Inc. in Flemington, NJ is seeking a licensed Pharmacist to oversee safe dispensing and ensure therapy appropriateness for diverse patient populations, including neonates to geriatrics. You will work within a hospital pharmacy team to uphold quality and patient safety.
The role emphasizes accurate distribution, parenteral preparation, and administrative support for pharmacy management; NJ Pharmacist License is required, with Doctor of Pharmacy or equivalent degrees preferred.
Pharmacists are responsible for the safe and accurate dispensing of pharmaceuticals and ensure appropriateness of prescribed therapy for all patient populations including neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults and geriatrics. Pharmacists must also communicate effectively with the department, other healthcare professionals and patients.
Bachelors of Science in Pharmacy
5 years hospital pharmacy experience if has a Bachelors or Masters in Pharmacy. Prior work experience not required for Doctor of Pharmacy.
2 years of recent hospital pharmacy experience or post-graduate residency training.
New Jersey Pharmacist License
Specialty pharmacy certification (e.g. BCPS, CGP)
Pharmacy skills serving patients of diverse age and disease states; working knowledge of Automated Dispensing Cabinets (e.g. PYXIS® or Omnicell®); Competence in required computer programs (clinical system, ADC, parenteral documentation).
MS Office Proficient; Teaching/precepting experience
