This full-time role offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $58.30 to $93.29 based on experience and education, alongside a generous $40,000 retention bonus and relocation assistance up to $7,500.

Staff Pharmacist

A large and growing hospital in Fairbanks, AK is currently seeking multiple permanent hire staff to join their team full-time!

Job Type: Permanent / Direct Hire

Location: Fairbanks, AK

Pay: $58.30 to $93.29 hourly wage based on experience and education

Retention Bonus: $40,000 retention bonus for eligible new hires

Relocation Assistance: up to $7,500

Additional Pay: Shift differential, annual increases, PTO

Schedule: Full Time, 40 Hours (4 x 10)

Responsibilities

• Reviews medication orders and evaluates their appropriateness and completeness with respect to patient data including age, height, weight, diagnosis, laboratory values and other pertinent patient information.
• Contacts the prescriber with suggestions for improvement and resolves problems with the medication orders as needed.
• Accurately and completely documents patient assessment data and clinical interventions.

Minimum Requirements

• 1 year of experience in an acute care setting and pharmacy licensure.

Qualifications

• Requires (or eligible for) pharmacy licensure in the state of practice and a degree in Pharmacy from an accredited College of Pharmacy.
• May be required to possess a valid driver’s license and be eligible for coverage under the company’s auto insurance policy.
• Experience must include working in an acute care setting within the past 12 months as a Pharmacist in the specialty area.
