Job summary

MercyOne Genesis is hiring a Pharmacist to provide pharmaceutical services and oversee all department functions within the Medical Center. The role entails clinical and distributive duties serving patients and nursing staff, with leadership of technical staff.

As a Pharmacist at MercyOne Genesis, you will:

• Provide pharmaceutical services, both distributive and clinical, to patients, nursing staff and other clinical services staff of the Medical Center including information on the safe and effective use of medications
• Act in and oversee all functional areas of the department
• Provide direction to technical staff

Schedule : 40 hours per week

General Requirements :

• Bachelor's degree in pharmacy
• Registered Pharmacist in Iowa. Pharmacist applicants obtaining their initial licensure must obtain their Iowa Pharmacist Registration within 6 months of hire. Those applicants registered in another state must obtain their Iowa Pharmacist Registration within 6 months of hire.
• Valid driver's license
• No experience required
