Job summary

Encompass Health in Columbia, SC is seeking a Pharmacist to oversee daily hospital pharmacy operations and ensure safe medication use in a rehab setting.

You will collaborate with interprofessional teams, develop policies, interpret and dispense medications, and supervise pharmacy staff. State licensure required; degree from accredited program; supervisory experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensure by state board in the hospital's location.
• Degree from an ACPE-accredited pharmacy program or equivalent.
• One year of supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily pharmacy operations to meet patient and customer expectations.
• Contribute to development of pharmacy policies and procedures compliant with Joint Commission and regulatory standards.
• Participate in interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
