Olean General Hospital is seeking a Pharmacist to join the OGH Pharmacy team in Olean, NY. Under the supervision of the Director of Pharmacy, you will prepare and dispense medications after reviewing physician orders and participate in designated patient medication monitoring activities.
You will supervise Pharmacy technicians and their roles, ensuring adherence to procedures and patient safety. NY licensure eligibility is required, with PA licensure acceptable and NY license within 90 days of

Under the general supervision of the Director of Pharmacy and according to standard procedure, prepares and dispenses medications after review of a physician's order. Participates in designated patient medication monitoring activities as defined by department procedure. The Pharmacist will provide supervision of Pharmacy technicians and their roles and responsibilities.
Pharm.D or Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy. Licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of Pennsylvania as a pharmacist. Must be eligible for licensure in the state of New York. Pharmacist not licensed in the state of New York will be allowed ninety (90) days to obtain a New York State license from start date. Valid driver's license.
Prior hospital experience preferred. The ability to work independently; the ability to learn new routines; the ability to supervise technicians as necessary; good verbal communication. Able to perform the duties and responsibilities of a pharmacist at any facility over which the SDOP has purview.
