Job summary

RPh on the Go is seeking a Staff Pharmacist for a direct-hire role in Boise, ID. The position offers exposure to a high-volume, closed-door fulfillment environment while delivering direct patient support and clinical services.

You will provide counseling by phone, verify prescriptions for safety and accuracy, and collaborate with prescribers to resolve issues that could delay dispensing. A current Idaho license and up to 6 years of pharmacist experience in retail, mail order, or specialty

Qualifications

• Must have a clear and active Idaho pharmacist license.
• 0–6 years of pharmacist experience, preferred in retail, mail order, or specialty pharmacy.

Responsibilities

• Provide proactive patient counseling and medication education by phone, including questions about new prescriptions, refills, side effects, adherence, and proper medication use
• Collaborate with prescribers to clarify prescriptions and resolve clinical issues that could delay dispensing
• Review and clinically verify new and refill prescriptions for therapeutic appropriateness, drug interactions, contraindications, and dosing accuracy
• Perform pharmacist verification of filled prescriptions in a high-volume closed-door fulfillment environment, ensuring accuracy of drug, dose, quantity, and labeling before dispensing
• Assist management with receiving, processing, and transferring prescriptions while owning the transfer process from start to finish

RPh on the Go is a seeking Staff Pharmacist for a direct-hire opportunity with a centralized pharmacy operation in Boise, ID. This is a great opportunity for pharmacists looking to build their experience in a high-volume, closed-door fulfillment environment while providing direct patient support and clinical services.

Term of Assignment: Direct-Hire

Schedule: Monday - Friday, with a rotating schedule between 6:00 AM and 8:00 PM.

Job Duties:

• Provide proactive patient counseling and medication education by phone, including questions about new prescriptions, refills, side effects, adherence, and proper medication use
• Collaborate with prescribers and their offices to clarify prescriptions and resolve clinical issues that could delay dispensing
• Review and clinically verify new and refill prescriptions for therapeutic appropriateness, drug interactions, contraindications, and dosing accuracy
• Perform pharmacist verification of filled prescriptions in a high-volume closed-door fulfillment environment, ensuring accuracy of drug, dose, quantity, and labeling before dispensing
• Assist pharmacy management staff with receiving, processing, and transferring prescriptions while owning the transfer process from start to finish
