Seven Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Pharmacist for a travel assignment in Alexandria, LA. This role focuses on providing essential pharmaceutical services with compassion and excellence within a hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree (preferred) or BS Pharmacy degree (accepted).
• Must have state licensure (LA license required).
• Hospital experience preferred.
• BLS or ACLS certification via AHA.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and dispense drug orders per physician requests and established protocols.
• Maintain accurate patient drug records and ensure compliance with applicable laws.
• Manage controlled substances and ensure efficient services.
• Supervise pharmacy support personnel and verify pharmacy technicians' activities.
• Provide ambulatory care services, manage drug therapy, and provide patient education.
• Monitor drug therapy regimens and provide clinical consultation.
• Participate in quality improvement and medication use review activities.
