Shifts vary with 8, 10, or 12-hour options over a 13-week time frame. Competitive weekly pay of $3,868.80, with weekly payments, license reimbursement, health insurance, and certification support.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy or BS Pharmacy degree required.
• Hospital experience preferred.
• Pharmacy state licensure required (LA license).
• BLS via AHA required; ACLS via AHA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and dispense drug orders per physician request according to established protocols.
• Interpret and verify accuracy of drug orders in computerized medication records.
• Compound and dispense pharmaceuticals accurately, including chemotherapy and parenteral nutrition.
• Issue controlled substances and maintain required records.
• Provide ambulatory pharmaceutical care services and manage patient drug therapy.
• Participate in clinical intervention activities and attend interdisciplinary rounds as assigned.
