Job Overview

Join Syneos Health as a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative (PSR) and become part of a fast-paced, challenging environment where our compassion and dedication drive us to meet the unique needs and goals of our customers. The PSR role involves building relationships with recognized experts, healthcare providers (HCPs), and prioritized stakeholders. This position will be integrated with a large biopharmaceutical company, working alongside company team members. Daily coaching and direction will be provided by client managers in partnership with the Syneos FTM.

Responsibilities
  • Achieve and/or exceed targeted sales goals in the assigned territory by developing, implementing, and executing an integrated business plan focusing on key accounts to maximize sales.
  • Identify key influencers and meet customer interaction expectations, focusing on top target customers.
  • Plan and organize activities to ensure regular and consistent coverage of the territory according to a strategic plan.
  • Deliver clinical, brand-specific presentations of products to physicians and healthcare professionals.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the healthcare delivery system within each assigned customer, including physician hierarchy, pharmacy personnel, and clinical staff.
  • Deepen product and competitor knowledge and stay informed about local and regional market trends.
  • Analyze local trends and develop short and long-term goals to craft a robust product business plan.
  • Collaborate with peers, brand teams, and support partners to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
  • Manage the territory budget to support sales and marketing activities.
  • Complete administrative tasks promptly and accurately.
  • Implement the company's brand strategy within the assigned geographic area.
  • Participate in training and development programs.
  • Adhere to all corporate, industry policies, and procedures.
Minimum Requirements
  • BA/BS degree required; Life Sciences degree preferred.
  • Sales experience (internship, B2B, or pharma).
  • Ability to identify key decision-makers, develop positive relationships, and demonstrate strong customer dedication.
  • Ability to learn, apply, and communicate product and disease state knowledge.
  • Proven success in exceeding results.
  • Team player capable of working independently, collaborative, and motivated.
  • Strong communication, business analytics, and account management skills.
  • Residency within the territory or within territory boundaries.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2+ years of pharmaceutical experience.
  • Experience selling SGLT2 or GLP1 for diabetes.
  • Business-to-business sales or internship experience and/or a sales degree.
