Job summary

Syneos Health is seeking a field-based Sales Representative to drive revenue within an assigned territory and serve as a disease expert for healthcare professionals. You will deliver compelling presentations, utilize approved materials, and execute the sales plan to meet quarterly and annual goals.

You will plan coverage, travel as needed (overnights/weekends), and participate in trainings while adhering to corporate policies.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree required.
• 2+ years of direct selling experience to healthcare professionals.
• Primary Care experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel, including overnights/weekends.

You have what it takes: a competitive drive coupled with exceptional sales ability.

In this role, you will be responsible for implementing the sales plan by delivering proficient sales presentations to a defined list of current and prospective customers and serving as a disease expert/resource. You will:

• Within an assigned territory, utilize all marketing and selling materials designed for a respective audience which includes specialty physicians, healthcare providers and healthcare clinic personnel
• Plan and organize activities to ensure regular and consistent coverage of the territory according to a plan of action
• Participation in training and development programs while abiding by all industry and corporate policies and procedures
• Achieve quarterly and annual sales goals while growing sales within the assigned territory

Essential Requirements:

• BA/BS Degree
• 2+ years' direct selling experience to healthcare professionals in pharmaceutical, biotech, device or healthcare
• Primary Care experience
• Valid driver's license and the ability to travel as necessary, including overnights and/or weekends
• Must live within territory or within territory boundaries.

Desired Requirements:

• A working knowledge of immunology and/or the dermatology, rheumatology or gastroenterology field
• Prior experience managing through complex reimbursement issues
• Experience in project-oriented selling situations in a high incentive and individual performance culture

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $100,000. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high of the Syneos Health range for this position. Actual salary will vary based on various factors such as the candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. In addition, some positions may include a company car or car allowance and eligibility to earn commissions/bonus based on company and / or individual performance.
