Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Pharmaceutical Research Scientist specializing in DMPK to join our R&D team. You will design and execute ADME studies, develop bioanalytical methods, and build PK models to inform lead optimization and candidate selection.

The ideal candidate holds a PhD or Master’s in Pharmacology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field, with 3+ years in DMPK, LC-MS/MS proficiency, and strong data presentation skills in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or Master’s degree in Pharmacology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biochemistry, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in DMPK research within the pharmaceutical/biotech industry.
• Proficiency in bioanalytical method development and LC-MS/MS validation.

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Pharmaceutical Research Scientist specializing in Drug Metabolism and Pharmacokinetics (DMPK) to join their dynamic R&D team in Welkom . This role is integral to the drug discovery and development process, focusing on understanding how drugs are absorbed, distributed, metabolized, and excreted (ADME) by the body. You will conduct critical studies to evaluate the pharmacokinetic profiles of drug candidates, informing critical decisions about lead optimization and candidate selection. The successful applicant will contribute to advancing our client's pipeline of innovative therapeutics within a collaborative and scientifically rigorous environment, ensuring the development of safe and effective medicines.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute in vitro and in vivo studies to assess the ADME properties of drug candidates.
• Utilize bioanalytical techniques (e.g., LC-MS/MS) to quantify drug and metabolite concentrations in biological matrices.
