As the Packaging Technician Team Lead, you’ll play a key role in ensuring efficient repackaging operations and team coordination. Under the direction of the Supervisor, you will:
Lead and coordinate a team of packaging technicians, ensuring smooth product flow and timely order completion.
Identify and escalate attendance and performance issues, and support coaching and progressive discipline efforts.
Balance workforce across packaging lines to meet daily shipping goals.
Step in to operate packaging equipment as needed to support daily output.
Champion safety by helping maintain a compliant and accident-free work environment.
Ensure quality and accuracy in labeling, verification, and compliance with cGMP standards.
Train, guide, and empower new team members to meet performance expectations.
Keep your area stocked and organized with necessary supplies.
Previous experience in pharmaceutical packaging, pharmacy technician roles, or healthcare industry preferred
National Pharmacy Technician Certification highly valued
Strong working knowledge of PC/Windows systems and packaging equipment
Excellent organizational and communication skills
High School Diploma or GED required
