Job summary

Norwich Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Manufacturing & Packaging Technician responsible for operating, adjusting, cleaning and setting up equipment to produce pharmaceutical products while ensuring quality, safety and regulatory standards.

You will set up and tend machines, inspect and weigh ingredients, transport materials, load and unload product, and maintain records. The role requires the ability to follow SOPs, work across shifts, and comply with cGMP and PPE requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Trade school or college degree in mechanical/technical discipline preferred.
• Pharma/food manufacturing or packaging experience preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and logical thinking required.
• Strong literacy and ability to document work.
• Basic math skills and record-keeping.
• Teamwork and willingness to work across three shifts or extended hours.

Responsibilities

• Set up equipment and tend machines to produce pharmaceutical products.
• Inspect, weigh and test ingredients and finished products for quality.
• Transport materials into and out of manufacturing modules to facilitate production.
• Load ingredients into machines and unload finished products.
• Clean equipment and modules for regular housekeeping and changeovers.
• Perform data entry to ensure accuracy.
• Follow cGMP and SOPs and safety procedures.
• Operate high speed equipment and troubleshoot basic components.
• Assist with alarms, PPE and safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate records and adhere to attendance policies.
