A leading staffing company is seeking candidates for a manufacturing role in pharmaceutical packaging in West Caldwell, NJ. The position requires operating various machines, ensuring quality control, and maintaining accurate records. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma and significant experience in the industry, along with manual dexterity and visual acuity. This role offers competitive hourly pay, with shifts available to accommodate different schedules.
1. Standing Majority of Day
2. Ability to lift or move 25-49 pounds
3. Business Travel Not Required
4. Ability to Gown for Manufacturing
5. Operate vial filling machines, fabrication machines, and/or secondary packaging equipment including labels and semi-automatic packaging equipment..
6. Meet established scrap rate goals.
7. Clean and set up manufacturing/packaging equipment.
8. Assure appropriate calibration stickers are current.
9. Record all necessary documentation in appropriate logbooks and batch records.
10. Communicate with IPC Operator and Supervisor on all issues concerning quality, components, and machine performance.
11. Palletize completed work and transport to warehouse as necessary.
12. Complete downtime log accurately and contemporaneously.
13. Assure that all reconciled labeling; e.g. pouchstock, inserts, shipper labels and waste is properly accounted for.
14. Communicate mechanical issues and other Production information with incoming and outgoing shifts.
15. Knowledgeable of all appropriate SOP"s and their practical application.
Hours are
1st Shift 6:15 am - 2:30pm
2nd shift 2:15pm - 10:30pm
3rd shift 10:15pm - 6:30am
1st day will be training on 1st shift.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
* High School graduate or equivalent
* Minimum of 3 years of Pharmaceutical packaging experience required
* Basic reading, writing and verbal skills
* Basic mathematic skills
* Able to wear safety glasses, hearing protection, full face/half mask respirator, latex gloves, Tyvek suit and other safety equipment as needed
* Basic use of tools and equipment
* Must possess good manual dexterity and visual acuity
$20 to $24 per hour.
