Job summary

Eurofins USA PSS Insourcing Solutions is seeking a manufacturing operator in Groton, CT. The role involves operating, troubleshooting and supporting complex pharma manufacturing equipment to produce patient-ready products.

Responsibilities include documenting batch records, setting up equipment, and contributing to continuous improvement. Candidates should have a science background, a valid driver's license, and strong communication skills. Overtime and weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or higher required; sciences background preferred.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license.
• Pharmaceutical or regulated GMP/ISO environment experience desirable.
• Strong written and verbal communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Generate, assist and execute documentation for manufacture and batch records.
• Complete complex bulk product manufacturing activities to convert raw materials into intermediate product.
• Process intermediate bulk to final patient-ready presentation.
• Set up manufacturing equipment and manage related documentation.
• Perform operation and maintenance tasks in a classified manufacturing space.
• Complete operator care tasks for equipment operation & maintenance.
• Generate, manage and report operational performance data.
• Identify and lead continuous improvement projects.

Job Description

This role is a great fit for candidates with strong mechanical aptitude who are looking to translate their hands-on technical skills into a rewarding career in pharmaceutical manufacturing. You'll have opportunities to operate, troubleshoot, and support complex manufacturing equipment while contributing to the production of products that make a meaningful impact on patients' lives.

• Generate, assist and execute documentation associated with manufacture, Batch Documents, Log Books, Labels, check sheets , protocols, Change control, QTS, etc.
• Complete complex bulk product manufacturing activities to convert incoming raw materials into intermediate product
• Complete complex processing of intermediate bulk to convert this to a final patient ready final presentation
• Set up complex manufacturing equipment, manage and check documentation generated.
• Complete activities associated with the operation and maintenance of a classified manufacturing space
• Complete activities identified as operator care tasks associated with the maintenance and operation of complex manufacture equipment.
• Generate, manage and report operational performance associated data
• Identify, own and lead continuous improvement based projects

Qualifications

• High school diploma, Associate's, or Bachelor's degree in the sciences
• Must hold a valid driver’s license
• Pharmaceutical manufacturing experience; may be substituted with experience in a regulated environment such as GMP, ISO, etc.
• Experience with quality systems
• Standing, bending, climbing, reaching, and lifting upward of 55 pounds may be required.
• Must be able to wear appropriate PPE (i.e., daily uniform, gloves, safety glasses, respirators, and full protective suits) when necessary
• Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills
• Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Additional Information

• Position is full-time, working Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m.-5:00p.m overtime as needed
• May be requested to work on weekends, overtime, and holidays based on business needs.
