Job summary

Barry-Wehmiller Design Group is seeking a Validation Engineer to develop and execute validation and FDA compliance documents for pharmaceutical equipment. You will travel to top clients nationwide to assist in design, project management, and facility development, upholding integrity in pursuit of goals.

The role requires strong technical writing, flexible coordination with management and clients, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to interact with all levels of management, clients, and vendors.
• Minimum of 3 years project experience with validation of automation, packaging, utilities and/or facilities is desired.
• Minimum of 3 years project experience in the pharmaceutical or medical device environments is a plus.
• Strong technical writing and oral communications.
• Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, & AutoCAD).
• Willing and able to travel as necessary for project requirements (installation, start-up, client meetings, trainings).

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute validation and FDA compliance documents/protocols for pharmaceutical equipment.
• Travel to top clients across the country to assist in process design and project execution.
• Develop FAT, SAT, IQ and OQ documentation for automated systems in pharma.
• Assist in developing and executing QMS procedures and regulatory documents.
• Collaborate with teams to investigate and troubleshoot validation issues.
• Prepare written validation reports.
• Contribute to client relationships and project success.
