Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Data Visualization, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on Tableau development experience.
• Consulting or client-facing delivery experience preferred.
• Experience gathering requirements from stakeholders and translating them into dashboard specs.
• Strong communication and ability to present dashboards to business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Gather requirements from client stakeholders and understand business questions behind requests.
• Present dashboards to stakeholders and explain how design answers questions.
• Design and build production Tableau dashboards with precise layouts across devices.
• Apply advanced Tableau capabilities including LODs, table calculations, set/parameter actions, and dynamic zone visibility.
• Optimize dashboard performance through data source design and efficient calculations.
• Create wireframes and prototypes to align on layout and functionality before development.
• Select chart types and apply best visualization practices for clear insights.
• Analyze datasets to surface key insights and trends.
• Collaborate with data engineering and source system owners on data models for visualization.
• Incorporate UX/UI and human-centered design into dashboard work.
