Job summary

Simtra BioPharma Solutions seeks a detail-oriented Supply Chain Planner to develop and maintain a workable production plan that balances customer needs with business goals. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize capacity and prioritize operations in a fast-moving environment.

The ideal candidate is analytical, collaborative, and able to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision, ensuring data integrity across planning systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience; experience in contract manufacturing a plus.
• Strong ability to design reports, analyze data, and present findings.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently while following established guidelines and processes.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; team-oriented and adaptable.
• Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and enterprise systems such as JDE, BPLM, Pilgrim, Trackwise, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Generate and present short‑term capacity and resource analyses.
• Evaluate intermittent demand and customer requests to identify opportunities for scheduling filling and finishing activities.
• Maintain a balanced 90‑day manufacturing plan focusing on labor and equipment utilization.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing to develop and maintain an executable production plan.
• Open and manage work orders in the ERP system.
• Coordinate start dates for Filling and Finishing work orders for material flow.
• Prepare monthly performance metrics (e.g., Schedule Adherence, S&OP, budgeted volume).
• Maintain master data including project codes, routings, turn/run times, and other planning elements.
• Coordinate internal non‑product production activities including scheduling and reporting.
• Serve as system owner for Compass database, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
• Create and maintain the shipping schedule.
