Job summary

Simtra BioPharma Solutions in Bloomington, IN seeks a detail-oriented Supply Chain Planner to develop, manage, and maintain a workable production plan that supports customer needs and business objectives.

This role partners with cross-functional teams to balance capacity, demand, and priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment. The ideal candidate is analytical, collaborative, and highly organized.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience; experience in contract manufacturing a plus.
• Strong Excel skills and data-driven decision making.
• Ability to design reports, analyze data, and present findings.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Generate and present short-term capacity and resource analyses.
• Evaluate intermittent demand and customer requests to identify best opportunities for scheduling.
• Maintain a balanced 90-day manufacturing plan focusing on labor and equipment utilization.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing to develop and maintain an executable production plan.
• Open and manage work orders in the ERP system.
• Coordinate start dates for Filling and Finishing work orders for smooth material flow.
• Prepare monthly performance metrics (Schedule Adherence, S&OP, budgeted volume).
• Manage master data including project codes, routings, and times.
• Coordinate internal non-product production activities (scheduling, work orders, reporting).
• Serve as system owner for Compass database, ensuring data accuracy.
• Create and maintain the shipping schedule.
