Job summary

Allied Universal Security Services is seeking a Security Flex Officer for a Pharma Site in Woonsocket, RI. This full-time position offers flex hours from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday, with a starting rate of $20.00 per hour and paid orientation.

A high school diploma or GED is required. The Security Professional Flex Officer will patrol, monitor entrances, respond to emergencies, and support clients across healthcare and other industries, with schedule flexibility and growth

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Valid driver's license if operating a company or customer vehicle.
• Background check and drug screen required by Allied Universal.
• Be at least 18 years old (21 if armed where required).
• Reliability and adaptability to different post assignments.
• Effective oral and written communication; interact cordially with the public.
• Active listening and problem-solving skills.
• Mediate conflict with tact and diplomacy; teamwork; attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Monitor for irregular or unusual conditions creating safety concerns or hazards.
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department in case of fire or unauthorized presence.
• Warn violators of rule infractions (loitering, smoking, etc.).
• Permit authorized entry and monitor entrances/exits.
• Observe departing personnel to prevent theft and ensure proper removal of property.
• Investigate accidents and incidents; maintain logs.
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors courteously.
• Make emergency notifications per site Post Orders.
