Actalent is seeking an R&D Chemist in New Brighton, MN, to join a pharmaceutical analytics lab on a day shift. You will support formulation development and perform a range of analytical techniques in a start‑up style environment.

Responsibilities include HPLC testing, dissolution, solid‑state characterization (XRD, DSC, TGA), and sample prep. The role offers hands‑on R&D exposure and room to grow within a growing pharma‑focused team.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or closely related field.
• At least 6 months of lab experience post-degree.
• Foundational knowledge of analytical chemistry principles.

Responsabilidades

• Provide testing support for prototype formulations across development stages.
• Perform physical testing: disintegration, particle size, and related evaluations.
• Characterize solids using microscopy, XRD, DSC, and TGA.
• Carry out chemical characterizations including assay and dissolution tests.
• Perform HPLC analysis and related analytical procedures.
• Prepare samples for analytical and solid-state methods per lab protocols.
• Support formulation development, including process optimization and scale‑up.
• Adapt to changing project priorities and support multiple lab facets.
• Maintain accurate records of experiments per lab standards.
