Job summary

Adelphi Research by Design is seeking a Qualitative Associate Director to lead the design, management, and delivery of sophisticated qualitative research projects in the pharmaceutical space. You will guide multiple studies and mentor teams across assignments, with expert moderation of in-depth interviews and focus groups and authoring compelling deliverables.

You will partner with clients to uncover actionable insights, drive new business opportunities, and travel to client sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree essential; advanced education preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years relevant experience as a market researcher in pharma.
• Deep understanding of market research needs for pharma/biotech products.
• Experience leading qualitative research projects and teams.
• Strong communication and presentation skills; client-facing capability.

Responsibilities

• The design, management, and delivery of all aspects of superior custom qualitative research projects
• Ability to work on and contribute to multiple projects simultaneously
• Expert in moderating telephone/in-person in-depth interviews and focus groups
• Writing ability to author report deliverables
• Partner with clients to find creative solutions and grow relationships
• Active participation in new business development with sales/profitability targets
• In person client travel is required
