Job summary

Pharmaceutical Specialties, Inc. seeks a Chemist I to perform physical and chemical testing on raw materials and finished products in accordance with cGMP, USP, FDA and PSI procedures.

You will document results, follow SOPs, and support QA, R&D, and production teams. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or related field with 0–3 years in a lab, basic chromatography knowledge, and proficiency in pipetting and weighing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or related science
• 0 - 3 years experience in a laboratory setting
• Basic knowledge of chromatography techniques
• Basic knowledge of dilutions, titrations, and pH
• Basic understanding of good documentation practices

Responsibilities

• Perform physical and chemical tests on raw materials and finished products
• Follow SOPs and document work clearly
• Be accountable for accuracy and validity of test results
• Maintain a clean lab and assist in purchasing
• Perform basic instrument calibration and maintenance
• Assist with new methodology for materials and products
• Pipetting and weighing skills required
• Handle chemicals safely
• Travel for educational purposes as needed
