Job summary

Aurolife is seeking a Chemist to perform QC testing to assess strength, identity, and purity of samples. The role involves bench-level work, planning, and execution of analytical testing using established procedures.

You will contribute to a team focused on quality in a fast-paced pharmaceutical environment. The ideal candidate holds a BS in a scientific field with 1–3 years of pharma experience, including analytical testing.

Qualifications

• BS in Science or related field required; Chemistry preferred.
• 1–3 years experience in pharmaceuticals; 1–2 years in analytical testing desirable.
• QC experience in generic pharmaceutical industries preferred.
• Knowledge of Good Documentation practices and USP/ICH/FDA guidelines.
• Ability to learn quickly and make decisions under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform sampling, physical and chemical tests on raw materials, APIs, in-process, finished and stability products using wet chemicals and instrumental techniques.
• Plan and inventory reagents to ensure uninterrupted testing.
• Execute tests to meet established timelines; handle complex testing with supervisory direction.
• Record data clearly in documentation procedures and results.
• Prepare and/or review test procedures, SOPs and protocols as assigned.
• Calibrate and maintain laboratory instruments under supervision.
• Troubleshoot investigations under supervisor direction.
• Comply with safety, cGMP, cGLP, and regulatory requirements; review analytical documents as required.
