Placements24 is seeking a Pharmaceutical Project Manager for a leading biopharmaceutical client based in Randburg, Gauteng. The role oversees end-to-end drug development projects from initiation through regulatory submission, with a hybrid work model combining office collaboration and home-based focus.

You will plan, execute, and close projects, manage cross-functional teams and budgets, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a science or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• 6–8 years of project management experience in pharma/biotech.
• Proven track record of managing complex projects end-to-end.
• Proficiency with PM software and methodologies (Agile/Waterfall).
• Knowledge of regulatory affairs, quality assurance, and drug development.
• Strong leadership, communication, and budgeting skills.

Responsabilités

• Lead multiple pharmaceutical development projects concurrently.
• Develop plans with scope, timelines, budgets, and risks.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure effective communication.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement mitigations.
• Manage budgets, track expenditures, and resource use.
• Present status reports to senior management and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (ICH, GCP, GMP).
• Facilitate decision-making and resolve conflicts within teams.
• Oversee documentation and archiving of project information.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of PM methodologies.
