Job summary

PANTHERx Rare Pharmacy in Pittsburgh, PA seeks an Associate Account Manager to grow as a strategic partner for pharmaceutical manufacturer programs. You’ll bridge day-to-day operations with account management, coordinating communications and program performance with internal teams and partners.

Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and at least 3 years in specialty pharmacy or healthcare Ops. The role offers hybrid on-site flexibility and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of three years in specialty pharmacy, healthcare operations, patient access, reimbursement support, or related field.
• Ability to manage complex issues and escalations with limited supervision.
• Strong knowledge of specialty pharmacy operations, reimbursement processes, and patient access workflows.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with internal stakeholders and partners.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day operational activities and partner communications for assigned programs.
• Serve as primary operational contact and escalation resource for inquiries and access issues.
• Build and maintain relationships with internal teams and external manufacturer partners.
• Monitor program activity, KPIs, risks and opportunities; suggest follow-up actions.
• Coordinate cross-functional issues with pharmacy operations, reimbursement, clinical teams.
• Prepare program updates, meeting agendas, summaries, and insights for leadership.
