Job summary

Sun Pharma in New Jersey is seeking an entry-level GMP production operator to perform tasks across a range of manufacturing steps, under supervision, ensuring compliance with cGMP and SOPs. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and accurate documentation, including equipment changeovers, cleaning, setup, and adherence to OSHA guidelines; prior experience not required, high school diploma preferred.

Working hours are Mon-Fri 7:00am–3:30pm, with potential overtime.

Qualifications

Minimum of High School/Trade School/Vocational School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Forklift or other related equipment certification preferred.
Basic Troubleshooting skills.
Basic knowledge of cGMP and other pharmaceutical regulatory requirements.
Basic knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety procedures.
Good Math and Computer Skills including MS Office and some experience with SAP preferred.
Good Interpersonal skills.
English language proficiency at Basic A2 level.

Responsibilities

Operate equipment for one production process (Glatt fluid bed processor, Granulation, Blending, Compression, Coating, Imprinting, Banding and Encapsulation).
Perform machine changeovers, cleaning, and setup as required.
Troubleshoot and adjust to maintain production specifications.
Ensure adherence to quality standards during the manufacturing process.
Complete manufacturing documents with accuracy and completeness.
Maintain SOP and cGMP compliance at all times.
Work safely with equipment per OSHA regulations and manuals.
