Job summary

Intellectt Inc. in Rancho Cordova, CA is seeking a Process Engineer to support pharmaceutical manufacturing operations, troubleshoot production issues, and improve process safety, productivity, and reliability.

This on-site W2 contract role offers a $40-$45/hr pay rate and second shift coverage. The candidate will engage in scale-up, batch record updates, cGMP documentation, PHA/PSSR activities, and cross-functional collaboration with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, and EHS teams to

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of Process Engineering experience in pharmaceutical or chemical manufacturing.
• Experience with cGMP documentation, batch records, and manufacturing process troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of PHA/PSSR, process safety, and equipment qualification.
• Strong technical writing, problem-solving, and cross-functional communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support daily manufacturing, process troubleshooting, scale-up, equipment setup, cleaning, startup, and changeovers.
• Develop and update batch records, work instructions, and cGMP documentation.
• Participate in Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) and Pre-Startup Safety Reviews (PSSR).
• Support equipment qualification and implementation of process changes.
• Train operators on manufacturing procedures and equipment operation.
• Perform emission calculations and update P&IDs.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, and EHS teams to resolve issues and implement improvements.
