Job summary

Lifecore Biomedical, Inc. is hiring a Process Engineer in Chaska, MN to develop manufacturing processes from benchtop to commercial scale. You will support transfer of processes from customer sites, scale-up activities, and manufacturing pre-GMP and GMP batches for clinical projects.

The role requires lab skills, FDA-regulated industry experience, and a BS in a related field. You will communicate critical project information to clients and internal teams, evaluate process design and performance

Qualifications

• BS in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Chemical Engineering.
• 2–5 years biotechnology or pharmaceutical process development/manufacturing experience.
• Experience in biotech/pharma processes and FDA regulated industry.

Responsibilities

• Develop manufacturing processes from benchtop to commercial scale.
• Transfer benchtop processes from customer sites to Lifecore.
• Scale up to pilot and commercial scale.
• Manufacture pre-GMP and GMP batches for clinical projects.
• Communicate project information to clients and internal teams.
• Analyze data with DOE and statistical methods; drive process improvements.
