Job summary

ALPLA Group in Puerto Rico seeks a Manufacturing Manager to lead all manufacturing activities within the Pharma Operations at the plant level. You will drive planning, production, and maintenance with a strong focus on optimization and continuous improvement.

Required qualifications include a Bachelor/Master or Diploma in operations/manufacturing and 5+ years in manufacturing (ideally plastic packaging), plus leadership experience and English proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Master or Diploma with affinity to operations/manufacturing.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in manufacturing, preferably in plastic packaging.
• Deep understanding of cost calculation and performance metrics.
• Proven track of leadership experience and ability to train and develop the operations team.
• Advanced MS Office skills.
• Ability to work independently to tight deadlines and proactive in solving problems.
• Proficiency in English and other language skills are of advantage.
• Willing to travel for work.

Responsibilities

• Lead all manufacturing activities within the Pharma Operations at the plant.
• Plan, produce and maintain the plant's operations.
• Drive optimization and continuous improvement across manufacturing processes.
• Represent ALPLA at the plant level and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
