Job summary

BCG Attorney Search in the United States seeks a mid-to-senior-level associate with 3-6 years of patent prosecution experience to join the Pharmaceutical group in the Prosecution & Counseling department. This role is available in Boston, New York, or Washington, D.C.

You will collaborate with clients and inventors, prepare and file patent applications, and perform freedom-to-operate and patentability analyses. A JD and PhD in a related field are required, with USPTO admission.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of patent prosecution experience in a law firm setting.
• Admitted to or eligible for admission in MA, NY, or DC.
• Admission to the USPTO is required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients and inventors throughout the patent process.
• Prepare and file patent applications.
• Conduct freedom-to-operate and patentability analyses.
• Assist in additional responsibilities or projects as needed.
