Job summary

Fresenius Kabi in California is seeking a 2nd shift operator to package life-saving medicines on a high-speed assembly line. You will conduct visual inspection, move products on and off the line, and strictly follow SOPs and documentation.

Candidates should have a High School diploma or GED and be able to lift up to 40 lbs. Prior machine operator experience or mechanical aptitude is preferred, especially HMI experience.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Comply with SOPs and cGMPs and report problems.
• Train teammates and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Work overtime as needed and wear appropriate clean room safety gear.

Job Summary

Responsibilities

• 2nd Shift is 2:45 AM to 11:15 PM, Monday through Friday
• Salary Range: $17.51/hour plus applicable shift differential
• Final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to experience level, education, knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Package life-saving medicines on high-speed computerized assembly line. Conduct visual inspection, move product on and off assembly line. Strictly follow standard operating procedures and documentation requirements. Identify and report problems. Must be willing to become qualified inspector.

• Make minor adjustments and assist with changeover and set-up to equipment
• Visually inspect vials and labels
• Assure that the packaged product meets all specifications
• Perform visual inspection of labeled vials

• Continue to train as well as train other crew members

The successful candidate must be able to effectively speak, read, write, and understand English to perform the essential functions of the position, including independently understanding policies, procedures, training materials, and workplace communications written in English due to our heavily regulated work environment.
