Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a Production Technician in Sioux Falls, SD to handle medication orders, label and package items, and ensure accurate shipment to patients and providers. This temporary role involves cross-functional production tasks, adherence to safety protocols, and potential extension based on volume.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, at least 6 months in healthcare or production, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail, accuracy, and quality in handling medications, packaging, and labeling boxes.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to stand for the entire shift.
• 6 months of experience in a healthcare or production role.

Responsibilities

• Process and ship all medication orders received on the production floor.
• Work in manifesting to ensure accurate package shipment to patients and providers.
• Consult with Pharmacy Operations Manager or Pharmacist for assistance on any discrepancy or prescription clarification.
• Work in all areas on the production floor, including manifesting, labeling boxes, and wrapping pallets.
• Maintain a safe and clean pharmacy by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Protect patients and employees by adhering to policies and protocols.
• Verify labels and quantity for bottles.
• Select appropriate packing materials and enclose specified items in orders.
• Affix packaging labels to orders.
• Lift up to 30-40 pounds when moving packages.
