Job summary

Alcami Corporation in Wilmington, NC is seeking a Packaging Technician I to join our manufacturing team. The role focuses on inspecting, labeling and packaging solid dose and parenteral pharmaceutical products for commercial distribution and clinical trials, following SOPs and batch records in line with FDA cGMP.

This on-site, first shift position requires accurate documentation, basic math, and the ability to operate packaging equipment and material handling tools.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 0 to 2+ years work experience.
• Mechanical or pharmaceutical experience not required.
• Mechanical aptitude or work within a regulated environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Documents activities clearly and accurately.
• Performs basic math calculations.
• Operates solid dose inspection, labeling and packaging equipment.
• Operates material handling equipment.
• Performs in-process checks and component counting.
• Performs cleaning of rooms, tools and equipment.
• Ensures timely completion and compliance with cGMP and all other relevant company training requirements.
• Works occasional hours outside of scheduled shift based on business needs, which may include weekend work.
• Other duties as assigned.
