Qualifications

• Pursuing a Master’s or PhD in a technical field related to materials science or engineering.
• Familiarity with data analysis and scientific programming is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Predict and analyze single crystal material properties relevant to pharmaceutical development, including mechanical behavior and elastic properties.
• Assist in evaluating how crystal structure and morphology influence downstream processing.
• Design and execute experiments to characterize tablet mechanical performance (diametral compression, dynamic breakage).
• Use DIC and imaging tools to quantify strain localization and failure mechanisms.
• Integrate experimental and modeling results to improve mechanistic understanding and predictive frameworks.
